Michelle Malone was Carrie’s Corner’s very first official artist for our first season and we couldn’t be more excited to have her back for a second show….ironically also now the first show of THIS season. 😉
Michelle Malone’s musical roots run deep and wide like the mighty Mississippi river, twisting and turning through rock, blues, and alt-country music territory. She is “a master at mixing blues and Americana music” (GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE). Over the course of Malone’s career, she has shared stages with artists from Gregg Allman to Indigo Girls, SugarLand’s Kristian Bush to Brandi Carlisle, Mississippi All-Stars Luther Dickenson to ZZ Top, released more than a dozen records, and went indie when it still took guts. Her powerful live show will take you on a journey from red dirt back roads to bright city lights, whether she’s solo acoustic in a living room concert or in a big arena backed by her band. She “has the soul of a bluesman, the heart of a folk singer, and the guts of a rock and roll star wrapped up in one fiery bad ass” (NASHVILLE RAGE), and she’s determined to bring the masses back together in the name of love and music with her latest, Slings and Arrows. If you were at Michelle’s first show then you know what an amazing evening you are in for. We hope to see you there.
If you are interested in attending, we suggest responding to this email to RSVP immediately. Given the VERY LIMITED SEATING for this event in order to comply with social distancing and keep everyone safe, we will ONLY accept suggested donations after receiving an RSVP email – and will give instructions at that time.
SUGGESTED DONATION IS $25 per person.
We will keep access to tickets limited to Carrie’s Corner email list subscribers and Facebook group members for the next 30 days and if there are any spots left after that will open up to members outside the community.
Like all Carrie’s Corner shows this will be a BYOB / Picnic event. We will have limited single serve soft drinks and snacks available with our compliments as well.
Note: We have added an additional seating area / deck and will have plenty of room to spread out. Even though we also have some seating available we recommend you bring your own camp / tailgate chairs.
Show will happen rain or shine and all suggested donations are non-refundable.
FUN WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING: We also reserve the right to assign seating by party to ensure social distancing compliance and will assess necessary safety precautions as we go. We will have a hand sanitizer station available but recommend you bring your now sanitizing supplies as well.
